Tiffany Hutchings, Attorney/Abogada

I specialize in business and family immigration law.  I represent clients in nearly all areas of business immigration law, assisting employers and employees with nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions as well as permanent residence applications and consular processing.  I also represent individuals and families who

have a wide variety of immigration goals, assisting with family-sponsored petitions, permanent residence (green card) applications, naturalization applications, waiver applications, DACA applications, and other matters.  I am particularly skilled at explaining what can often be very complicated immigration processes, and I provide dedicated and diligent representation in every case I take.  Prior to opening my own law office, I worked as an associate attorney at two local law firms that also specialize in U.S. immigration and nationality law.

I graduated with honors from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where I attended as an evening student while working full-time in finance and operations at the University of Denver.  I also hold a Master of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Science degree in political science, both from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.  Throughout my education, I focused my coursework on immigration, environmental, and social justice issues.

After graduating from law school, I began volunteering as a pro bono immigration attorney for one of my favorite organizations, the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN).  I have continued my pro bono work with RMIAN and now serve as a mentor attorney on RMIAN's Pro Bono Mentoring Panel.  I also volunteer at Colorado Legal Night, various citizenship workshops, and the Denver Public Library, and I have served as a mentor attorney for the Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program.  I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and currently serve on AILA Colorado’s US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Liaison Committee.

Born in Wyoming, I have lived in Colorado for most of my life.  When not assisting clients, I spend as much time with my family as possible.  I am also an avid hiker, a yoga teacher, and a truly terrible cook.  I have had the privilege of studying Spanish in both Panama and Argentina, and I work to improve my Spanish every day.

It is a pleasure and an honor for me to do the work that I do, and I am grateful for the opportunity.  Please contact my office if you would like to schedule a consultation.
